- SmartCrystal Technology: The AlcoHAWK One Test contains chemical crystals that react when they come in contact with the alcohol from a test subject’s breath. If the alcohol level exceeds the chosen BAC %, the crystals change in color from yellow to green, showing that alcohol was detected in the breath of the test subject.
